depiak proudly announces dkResources Vol.1.

dkResources are a set of educational CD’s that contain video tutorials on the subjects they tutor. There’s a wide variety of tutorials to choose from, and depiak has chosen Vol.1 carefully to have a set of tutorials that are extremely useful to all webmasters nowadays.

Like they always say - Good news brings good news.

Our first actual announcement - well known as our first activity - will be the PHP course. The PHP course will commence on Tuesday 13th March, at 3:00pm in Room 612 in the faculty of Engineering. We will be describing in detail what depiak is, what is our proposal and what are our goals, commitments, ideas, basically everything regarding depiak - bringing it to sunshine after a pretty dull introduction.

We would like everyone who is interested in webdevelopment to join us that day, whether he would like to attend the *free* course or not, just to make sure they have a clear idea of what it is we are, we do, and we will be doing in the very near future insh2alah.

Hello and welcome to depiak!

Not long ago, we had a vision, a mission we wanted to accomplish to and by depiak, as a foundation, and as a professional web development community. We had goals, and we drew the ways we would achieve those goals with time.

However, things changed. When CAT Scope 5 arose, and we saw how much fun it would be to have a larger community to work with, teach and learn from, educate and have fun with, we thought of an entirely different mission, and saw a totally different vision regarding depiak.

We noticed PLENTY of CAT'ers wanted a web development community to join, to share and learn from - and this, we have become.

depiak creates. We design templates for websites. The designs are entirely made in-house and are very attractive to the eye, they - as per request - can be very enhanced and backboned with javascript and/or AJAX technology. We code. We've had a very large amount of experience in the world of PHP programming. dkSystems are very secure, and literally all input is thoroughly checked by the system before being processed, making them very secure and effecient to work with the database.

We would have thought that was enough to make depiak a fun environment, but then we thought - some people might want to LEARN specific stuff!, like PHP, web-designing, etc.

So?

We decided we're going to give integrated courses within depiak, to help enhance the designing skills within everyone, and give them a brighter view of web development - we might even develop the programming skills one needs to conquer the world of the internet! We will - insha'allah - be giving courses for PHP and/or web development with adobe Photoshop. If you find you're interested in any, hop in the forums section and let us know about you!

Don't hesitate, as much as you might need depiak, depiak needs you too!
